Columbia's Oliver Philcox wins the Breakthrough's New Horizons in Physics Prize!

Oliver Philcox, a junior fellow in the Simons Society of Fellows, hosted in the Columbia University Department of Physics has been awarded the Breakthrough's New Horizons in Physics Prize for early-career researchers! The prize is awarded to physicists from theoretical, mathematical, or experimental physics disciplines who have made transformative contributions to the advancement of physics. The physics prizes were founded by technology investor and science philanthropist Yuri Milner and are funded by a grant from the foundation established by Yuri and Julia Milner.

Oliver was recognized for "contributions to our understanding of the large-scale structure of the universe and the development of new tools to extract fundamental physics from galaxy surveys."
