Originally from Florida, Sam graduated with a B.A. in physics and mathematics and an M.S. in physics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. He then spent a year in Germany working at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics on a Fulbright Scholarship before moving to New York. Sam is interested in physical cosmology, particularly in using large-scale structure observations to test physical theories.
