Joseph grew up in Northern California before moving to New York. He obtained a B.S. in Applied Physics at Columbia while jointly attending Juilliard as a Double Bass performance major. He joins the group to explore his interest in quantum optics, specifically in collective effects. Outside of physics, he enjoys composing music.
