Jackson is a recent graduate of Rutgers University, and an incoming PhD student at Columbia University, where he’ll be studying computational condensed matter physics with the support of the Department of Energy’s Computational Science Graduate Fellowship. During his time at Rutgers, he conducted research in astrophysics, quantum computing, and computational condensed matter physics.
