Research Interest

I am a Feodor Lynen Postdoctoral Research Fellow, passionate about research involving 2D materials and their artificial heterostructures.

In my PhD studies (at Dresden University of Technology) I have been investigating the intrinsic properties and interactions of dipolar excitons in high-quality TMDC heterobilayer structures using ultrafast transient microscopy. It included the external manipulation of excitonic states by employing strong pulses of terahertz radiation, injection of free charge carriers and mechanical strain.

I aim to provide pathways for the dynamic control of optical excitations in future optoelectronic devices and am excited about advancing the fundamental understanding of novel artifical 2D heterostructures, including 2D magnetic materials.
