Chien Jung Huang

Chien Jung Hung (Peggy) is a Business Officer at the Physics Department.  She has a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Davis and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from National Taiwan University.  Peggy worked as a Manager, Corporation & Operations Controlling at Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Taiwan where she prepared monthly closing, financial forecasting and budget planning. She worked closely with cross departments to support the company's major business decisions and to reach financial targets. She was also a Derivatives Manager at HSBC Bank and an Intern at California Public Employees’ Retirement System and received the Finance Excellence Award from Daimler Financial Services. 

When Peggy is not working, she enjoys baking and sees baking as a creative process, and it is an activity that helps her to relax, as repetitive and simple activities set her mind free allowing her to concentrate just on baking.  She loves trying different ingredients and adjusting her favorite flavors or sweetness from the receipts.  Peggy’s favorite desserts are cheesecake, chiffon cake, and vanilla cream puffs.    She gets happy when she sees others enjoying her desserts.  It boosts her confidence and her desire to bake more and more desserts.
