Before joining Columbia, I received a degree in Mathematics and a degree in Physics from UCM in Spain. I do theoretical research on twisted 2D stacked materials, in particular on electron-phonon coupling via new collective modes that emerge from moirĂ© patterns. My work focuses on the effects of moirĂ© phonons on the transport properties of these devices, in order to explore their relation with superconducting and strange metallic phenomena.
