I am broadly interested in the composition, evolution, and early history of the Universe. I graduated University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with dual degrees in Physics and Astronomy. As an undergraduate, I did research in both experimental nuclear physics and computational cosmology. I worked with Professors Matthias Perdekamp and Riccardo Longo on the ATLAS Zero Degree Calorimeter group, where I was introduced to heavy-ion physics and the quark-gluon plasma. I also worked with Professor Kirk Barrow on dark matter halo mergers in galaxy assembly simulations using the HASKAP PIE halo finder. At Columbia, I plan to work with Professor Brian Cole and the Heavy Ion group on ATLAS, with broader interests in QGP, QCD, and the early Universe.
