Title: "Searching for fundamental interactions with Machine Learning"

Abstract: Fundamental physics has many open questions but no clear target for the next big discovery. One way new physics can appear is as small deviations from current theory. Finding them requires using all the information in each collision, which is where machine learning can help. In this talk, I will describe three threads of my work: how machine learning can improve unfolding, how we can teach physics to neural networks, and work toward making these networks small enough to decide in real time which collisions to keep.
