I earned my undergraduate degree in physics and applied mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I worked with the ATLAS group on Higgs physics. I also spent a summer at the University of Notre Dame working with the CMS group on photon reconstruction. I’m interested in using machine learning and statistical methods in experimental particle physics and searches for physics beyond the Standard Model.
I was born and raised in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I love playing guitar, finding new music, watching films, reading, playing tennis, and ballroom dancing.
