I am from Kentucky but went to college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving a BA in math and a BS in physics. My interests lie in particle and nuclear physics, and my previous research endeavors were mostly in neutrino physics with a stint in laser-plasma interactions at Berkeley Lab. At Columbia I am working in the Perez Lab on the GAPS experiment!
