Research Interest

I studied Physics at the University of Milan-Bicocca before moving to Paris, where I earned my PhD at IPhT Paris-Saclay. I then spent two years at DESY Hamburg, continuing my research, before joining the Physics Department at Columbia University. My primary research areas are Quantum Field Theory and Effective Field Theories, particularly as they apply to gravitationally interactive systems. I am especially interested in using these methods to study the gravitational two-body problem within various perturbative frameworks (Post-Newtonian and Post-Minkowskian expansions). Additionally, I aim to better understand the effects of specific features of General Relativity, such as memory effects and the influence of internal structure, in this context.
