I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. There I worked with the UIUC ATLAS Zero-Degree Calorimeter (ZDC) group on detector R&D for the upcoming high-luminosity upgrade to the ZDC. Besides my work on hardware, in the Summer of 2024, I participated in the US ATLAS SUPER program where I studied color fluctuations and nuclear matter effects in p+Pb collisions.
At Columbia I am pursuing and PhD in high-energy nuclear physics with a focus on studying the quark-gluon plasma. I am particularly interested in using ZDC data to probe relativistic heavy-ion collisions with asymmetry in rapidity.
