Post-doctoral researcher, Ibrahim Safa, a member of the Karagiorgi Group at NEVIS labs, has been awarded the 2023 GNN Dissertation Prize. The award recognizes young postdoctoral candidates who have written an outstanding thesis and contributed significantly to the project.
Dr. Safa completed his PhD work at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, under the mentorship of Professor Francis Halzen. His thesis was titled “New Physics with PeV Astrophysical Neutrino Beams".
