Ameya Chavda is a first-year graduate student at Columbia University. Her current research interests are in effective field theory formalism, gravitational physics, and black hole love number symmetries. She has done previous research on ghost scalar cosmology with Christos Tsagas as a visiting scholar at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Hubble tension with Collin Hill at Columbia University, and the matter bounce scenario of the cyclic model with Paul Steinhardt at Princeton University.
